It took three days, but my newest video is finally uploading now! I've decided to stick with .wmv format for now. Apparently so. The FCC has declared that both "TMZ" and "The 700 Club" are news shows so that if they air a biased article about one political candidate, they don't have to give equal time to the other side. The video production quest continues. I've spent at least 10 hours today fiddling with my video camera and it's uber cool outputs. I seem to have a choice between real HDV (which is 60i format) or 24p HDV (which is 24p inside a 60i container). 24p looks more like real film and shows up better on older televisions, whereas 60i is fully digital and can capture real motion better but it looks stark and, well, digital. I love the look of 24p, but my members might prefer the detail and motion capture of 60i. Goodness, my poor little head is spinning with all these numbers! I feel faint!
